Map: the tropical islands

With the old towns and the convenient color coding…

I see this joint as having various layers of history, all oppressed (brutally) by the current stratum, whose toehold is in the east, in the new growth around the expanded harbor. The old patrician west faces a slow loss of power; the rich retreats for the merchants in the south have been recently bought up by new trade syndicatos—men who smoke algae cigars and laugh at the plight of the poor fishermen on Blue Island…

Or something.
